Auction purchases are exchanges of value and may only be partially tax-deductible. Your official tax receipt will reflect the deductible portion.
Thank you for your generous support of public Waldorf education. Your gifts help sustain and grow the programs that make Valley Vista possible — an arts-integrated, whole-child education that is not fully covered by state or district funding. This school is built by families and community members like you, and we are deeply grateful for your partnership in this important work.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this a formal tax receipt?
No — this is a personal giving summary to help you track your contributions across our fundraising programs via individual email addresses. It is not a formal receipt for tax purposes.
Can I just make a one-time gift to the Family Pledge Program?
Absolutely! You can give a lump sum all at once, or spread your giving out by signing up for monthly giving — whichever is easier and more manageable for your family. Both options are available through our
Family Pledge Program page. Every gift, at any level, makes a difference.
Why can I only see my donations, not my partner's?
This portal shows giving tied to the specific email address you entered. If your household gives under multiple email addresses, each person will need to look up their own email separately to see their individual contributions.
What does this portal include?
This summary reflects financial donations made under your email address through our Family Pledge Program, Sunset Splash Auction, and Jog-a-Thon. It does not include:
- Volunteerism
- In-kind donations
- Escrip/GiveX
- Matching gifts
- Stock gifts
- Donor Advised Fund distributions
- Soft-credit donations made on your behalf by other organizations
All of these contributions are deeply appreciated, even if they don't appear here.
When will I receive my official year-end tax receipt?
A formal tax receipt for donations made in calendar year 2025 was sent in January 2026. Your receipt for 2026 will be issued in January 2027. These receipts include only tax-deductible donations and will not include auction bids or purchases, which are considered exchanges of value rather than charitable gifts.
Why don't I see my child listed under Jog-a-Thon?
Jog-a-Thon participants are linked to the email address used to register them. If your child was registered by a co-parent or fellow caregiver, they may appear under that person's email instead. Try asking your co-parent to look up their email, or contact us at
giving@petalumapublicwaldorf.org and we can help sort it out.
My total looks wrong or something seems missing.
If you believe your giving total is incomplete, it may be because some contributions aren't reflected in this portal — including gifts made by check, cash, stock transfer, or through a Donor Advised Fund. If you made a gift and don't see it here, please reach out to us at
giving@petalumapublicwaldorf.org and we'll look into it.
How do I update or cancel my monthly pledge?
Our Family Pledge Program is managed through Neon. To make changes to your recurring gift,
log in to your Neon account directly. If you do not have an account set up, you can
create one here.
I want to see how we're doing as a school community — where can I find updates on participation rates?

Is there anything else you want me to know?
YES! We want you to know that you are seen and appreciated for all of the wonderful, thoughtful, generous ways you show up for the VVPWS community. Your commitment to community-sustained education at Valley Vista Public Waldorf School is what makes this place possible. You’re not just a donor; you’re a co-creator of something extraordinary. We are so grateful to be building this school alongside you.
